On January 25, 2018, the 9th General Assembly of the FFBC was held in Coegnies Chaussée (Belgium).
The UECT was represented at this General Assembly by its president, Patrice Godart, who presented the UECT and its activities via a PowerPoint presentation, allowing attendees to learn more about the UECT.
The FFBC (Belgian Francophone Cycling Tourism Federation) is celebrating its 10th anniversary in 2018 and has 9,100 licensed road cyclists and mountain bikers.

After serving two terms as president, Jean Louis Verscheure decided to pass the torch, and the General Assembly elected the new FFBC Executive Committee: Christian Selerin as the new president, Jean Louis Verscheure as secretary, and Charles Degreus as treasurer (re-elected).
The UECT Executive Committee wishes the new FFBC team every success in all its endeavors at the national and European levels, as well as continued close collaboration with the UECT, particularly with regard to the organization of the 17th European Cycle Tourism Week, which will take place in Belgium in July 2021.
