European Week

There is the Europe of the summits, and the everyday Europe, close to us; together they build the Europe of the citizens. The European Cycle Tourism Week can enable those citizens of all ages and backgrounds, coming from every country, to meet, exchange and get to know one another.

The European Cycle Tourism Week aims to be the showcase of cycle tourism in Europe. It takes place over a week, usually in mid-July, in one of the countries affiliated to the European Union of Cycle Touring.

Cycle tourism is above all the practice of a leisure and relaxation activity, and of course a sport in its own right.

The European Cycle Tourism Week allows the discovery of a region, of a country, in a friendly atmosphere, and the chance to meet cyclotourists from every corner of this new Europe — that is the spirit of the European Cycle Tourism Week.
