Dedicated to organizing, developing, and promoting cycle tourism in all its forms in Europe, the European Cycle Tourism Union (UECT) is a nonprofit organization founded in 2002 in France. The UECT serves as a forum for meetings, exchange, and collaboration among European cycle-touring federations and associations.
Together with its partners, by promoting individual and cultural tourism, the UECT contributes to the protection of landscapes, tourist sites, nature, and the environment; it ensures the preservation of cultural heritage and respect for the people living in Europe.
Among the UECT’s events, the most important is undoubtedly the European Cycle Tourism Week, held in conjunction with the European Young Cycle Tourers’ Activities; these two events take place each year in a different European country, offering participants the chance to explore it by bike. The European Cycling Tourism Certificate and the European Union Routes will allow you to explore Europe by bicycle, either in a group or on your own.
See you soon on the roads of European adventure.
