During this meeting, after jointly reviewing the specifications for organizational logistics, the representatives signed a preliminary agreement awarding Heerenveen the right to host the event, which is expected to welcome 1,500 cycle tourists from 12 European countries who will explore the province of Friesland (located in the north of the Netherlands) by riding the various daily routes on roads and bike paths.
